Not super exciting - but good hard racing...
Lots of flashing dash temp lights at the end.
We really do think the Red Line Synthetic Oil's Water Wetter and Racing Oil saved the engine.

Finally made it out to Owosso Speedway tonight!
Unfortunately our main (big) engine (named "Frankie") still isn't reassembled after off season work (that will be changing soon).
So we went to Owosso with the small backup engine.
This little engine just does NOT have what it takes to lay down a good qualifying run at the smooth and fast track they have there in Owosso.
So - we ended up starting way back in 19th.
But with some hard digging and running the top for most of the 50 laps Evan found a way to get a 12th place finish!
We'll take it given how the day went.
So, looks like we need to get Frankie put back together and installed before the next time we hit a fast track like Owosso or Birch Run.
Was fun overall though!

Good job! And your right. A little motor makes it really tough there. Exactly why we haven’t raced there this year. Come to Whittemore this Saturday. Your little motor will be plenty! Good luck with the rest of your race season
