Had a nice first night out racing for 2025 @ Birch Run Speedway.
We qualified 5th, started 4th, made it to the lead for a few laps - then fell back a bit to finish where we started in 4th.
Overall a pretty darn good night - since we absolutely did NOT roll the car out of the trailer with near enough speed to get that done. But about 2 hours of "hair on fire" adjustments & practice laps got it close.
A lot of tuning still needed to be able to hang with the top cars for all 35 laps - but definitely feel like we're getting there.
Planning to be back in 2 weeks to try it again!

Looking back to the NSTA race @ Birch Run Speedway back in 2017.
That was our first season in the Mod.
Apparently we were starting 8th - not bad. 🙂

Starting 8th in the B-main that day. Things have definitely improved on the speed front since then
NSTA was such a fun season, I wish we could have kept going
